Apr 2027 Intake open

South Korea has quietly become one of the smartest choices for Nepali students. Tuition is far lower than in the UK, USA or Australia, university scholarships of 30–75% are common for international students, and Korean degrees carry serious weight with employers across Asia. Add a safe society, world-class technology and the global pull of Korean culture, and it's easy to see why applications from Nepal grow every year.

Universities run two main intakes β€” March (spring) and September (fall) β€” so there's almost always an intake within a few months of your decision. Most bachelor's programs are taught in Korean, which is why language preparation matters: many students begin with a Korean language program at their university before moving into their degree. A growing number of universities also offer English-taught programs, especially at master's level in engineering, IT and business.

Money matters, honestly: government and university scholarships (including the fully funded Global Korea Scholarship) can dramatically cut your costs, and student visa holders can work part-time once they meet the conditions. Our counselors will tell you frankly which universities and scholarships match your grades and budget β€” and what level of Korean you realistically need before you fly.
